Sonar supports .avi, .mpeg, .wmv, and .mov files. The videos will display as thumbnails contained within a separate track. Sonar is compatible with both 5.1 and 7.1 surround formats, making it possible to really enhance your audio. Similar to video editing software applications, the video output can be previewed on an external monitor so you can see your final product before rendering.
